Planning Committee

The Planning Committee is responsible for commenting on planning applications within the parish. The final decision will always rest with the City Council, but they are required by law to seek the view of the parish council. They may not always agree with the views we submit, and they are not obliged to follow them, but they must take them into consideration. If you are concerned about a planning application, please come to the meeting and make your views known. If you cannot attend, then write to the Clerk. The Committee will consider your views before making their decision.
