See the following update from Chelmsford City Council Planning Enforcement Team.

 

Dear Residents

We can advise following the hearing on the 12 October 2023, the Court agreed to make a continuation to the Interim Injunction Order. The Order was served on the land today.

This Order prohibits the bringing on of any further caravans, mobile homes or other structures, or the carrying out of any further works of development in connection with the preparation of the land as a residential caravan site. A copy of this Order is available to view online via the Council’s website quoting reference 23/00282/ENFA.

A further hearing is to take place at the High Court early in the New Year (subject to court availability), following the determination of planning application reference 23/01487/FUL.

In the interim the site will continue to be monitored to ensure that no breach of the terms of the Interim Injunction.

We will write to you again following the hearing in the New Year.

Green Dog Walkers Scheme

 

Three members of council's public health team are standing at a Chelmsford City Council gazebo.

The team will be visiting Angel Meadow in Broomfield on Friday 3 November and Chelmsford High Street on Tuesday 7 November, to invite local residents to sign up to Green Dog Walkers. In the meantime, you can learn more about the Green Dog Walkers scheme at chelmsford.gov.uk/green-dog-walkers-scheme/

To become a member simply complete the online pledge form.
